DELIVERIES

Please do not sign courier delivery notes if your parcel appears to be damaged.

If you wish to accept the parcel, please write on the delivery note 'parcel received damaged. This will help us to process replacement lenses.

If a damaged parcel is signed for as 'received in good condition' a claim cannot be made for compensation.

Returns Policy to UK Customers

  1. Rayner lntraocular Lenses accepts returned lenses for exchange only.
  2. Returned lenses are not accepted for cash credit or cash refunds.
  3. All returned lenses must have a Returns Authorisation Number obtained by contacting the Customer Services Department (Telephone Ol273 20540l) prior to despatching the lenses to Rayner.
  4. Returns made without a Returns Authorisation Number cannot be processed.
  5. The issue of the Returns Authorisation Number does not imply any commitment by Rayner to exchange all the lenses returned.
  6. To qualify for exchange, returned lenses must be currently manufactured styles in unopened original packs returned to Rayner within 6 months of purchase.
  7. Lenses returned with adhesive labels and/ or writing on the carton cannot be accepted for exchange.
  8. Obsolete lens styles (styles we no longer advertise) cannot be accepted for exchange.
  9. Rayner accepts lenses for exchange in opened packs that have been accidentally made unsterile by surgical staff. For opened pack exchanges it is only necessary to return the original labelling showing lens style, power, size and lens serial number.
  10. Rayner does not re-sterilise lenses.
  11. No exchange can be given for returned lenses lost or damaged in shipment to Rayner.
  12. Out of date lenses cannot be accepted for exchange.

  13. To return, please pack the lenses in a box, do not use a Jiffy bag or envelope as invariably the lenses are damaged in transit and this will adversely affect your exchange request and/or may lead to a charge being made.

CONSIGNMENT STOCK CUSTOMER NOTES

  1. A Consignment Stock is on agreed quantity of lenses supplied of no charge for your convenience.
  2. The lenses that constitute your Consignment Stock may be varied to suit your needs.
  3. Changes to the quantity of the Consignment Stock con only be made after Rayner receives written instructions from you and should follow discussions with your local representative.
  4. Your Consignment Stock ideally will be delivered by your local representative who will explain how to use the system.
  5. Please check the lenses upon receipt and sign for their safe delivery.
  6. Your local representative will call regularly to monitor your Consignment Stock and assist with any queries.
  7. The Consignment Stock lenses remain the property of Rayner lntraocular Lenses Ltd but whilst on your premises their safety and storage becomes your responsibility.
  8. Please do not write on the lens cartons or stick labels on them as should you wish to return any lens, marks on the outer pack will make them unusable for other customers.
  9. When lenses are used from the Consignment Stock they should be reordered at the earliest opportunity to avoid low stock problems. You do not have to order exactly the same lenses as you have used.
  10. You may order by telephone/ fax/ post or by using the Replacement Order Forms that Rayner can supply.
  11. All reordered lenses are invoiced.
  12. Rayner lntraocular Lenses Ltd will only be able to confirm the quantity and the details of the initial delivery of lenses, thereafter the quantity only con be confirmed.

RETURNS POLICY TO DISTRIBUTORS (OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS)

  1. Rayner lntraocular Lenses accepts returned lenses for exchange only.
  2. Returned lenses are not accepted for cash credit or cash refunds.
  3. Carriage on returned lenses is to be paid by the overseas customer.
  4. All returned lenses must have a Returns Authorisation Number obtained by contacting the Customer Services Department (Telephone (++44) 1273 205 401, Fax (++44) 1273 324 623) prior to despatching the lenses to Rayner.
  5. Returns made without a Returns Authorisation Number cannot be processed.
  6. The issue of the Returns Authorisation Number does not imply any commitment by Rayner to exchange all the lenses returned.
  7. To qualify for exchange, returned lenses must be currently manufactured styles in unopened original packs returned to Rayner within 6 months of purchase.
  8. Lenses returned with adhesive labels and/or writing on the carton cannot be accepted for exchange. Lenses with damaged or dirty lens cartons also do not qualify for exchange.
  9. Obsolete lens styles (styles we no longer advertise) cannot be accepted for exchange.
  10. Rayner accepts for exchange lenses in opened packs that have been accidentally made unsterile by surgical staff. A reprocessing fee of 50% of purchase price will be charged for each exchange lens. For opened pack exchanges it is only necessary to return the original labelling showing lens style, power, size and lens serial number.
  11. Rayner does not resterilise lenses.
  12. No exchange can be given for returned lenses lost or damaged in shipment.
  13. Out of date lenses cannot be accepted for exchange.
