The 2015 meeting of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) held in San Diego, CA, featured a number of presentations describing surgeons’ experience with Rayner’s portfolio of lenses including the C-flex, T-flex Aspheric Toric and Sulcoflex.

Rayner’s C-flex^® and Superflex^® aspheric and aberration-neutral monofocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) have been proved to “provide good and predictable functional results”, as the authors of a prospective clinical trial conclude in a recently published paper.

Rayner Joint CEOs Darren Millington and Tim Clover displayed their athleticism in an impressive performance at the Third Annual Run for Sight in San Diego, California - a feature in the calendar of events at the recent American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Meeting (ASCRS).

The CEOs had the satisfaction of achieving highly competitive places but more importantly, were able to contribute to the fundraising, as well as raising awareness, for this important charity.

Rayner Donates Lenses to a Recent Mission Trip to India.
Rayner recently supported a successful mission trip to India by donating IOLs to ICARE - a hospital dedicated to providing charitable eye-care. Through working with the Rayner’s local distributor in India - and 4 generous US-based surgeons – the company was able to help restore the gift of sight to those in great need.

Rayner’s C-flex^® intraocular lens (IOL) is associated with a low incidence of dysphotopsia and a high degree of patient satisfaction with postoperative visual outcomes, according to the findings from a study by Ashokkumar Vyas, FRCS (Ophth), recently published in Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology.

A recent clinical study using Rayner's Sulcoflex^® Toric IOL in patients with astigmatism following cataract surgery showed that this supplementary IOL provided predictable, stable and excellent optical and visual outcomes.
