Lubristil® Gel

Lubristil® Gel

Lubristil® Gel gives relief to the symptoms of ocular dryness and can be used as an alternative to ointments during the night.

Lubristil® Gel is also indicated for the relief of wounds and abrasions of the ocular surface caused by traumatic events and following surgery or associated with lachrymal tear film alterations.

  • Dry Eye Syndrome is a common cause of eye irritation; Dry Eye occurs when there are not enough tears to keep the eyes lubricated. The eyes may feel scratchy or gritty and uncomfortable, or even just tired. Dry Eye can happen to anyone, although the condition becomes more common as we age. Dry environments such as air conditioned buildings, smokey, or windy, atmospheres can make symptoms worse, as can watching TV or spending long periods looking at a computer screen, as we tend to blink (and therefore lubricate the eye) less often.

If you think you may be suffering from Dry Eyes, ask for advice from a healthcare professional, such as your Pharmacist, Optometrist, or GP.
