Rayner Continues Growth in Europe with Direct Presence in Italy

Rayner is pleased to announce its direct entry into the Italian cataract market.

The entire Rayner IOL & injector portfolio, available in Italy for the last 20 years via independent distributors, is now available through Rayner Italia Srl.

Incorporated in Milan, Rayner Italia includes a growing team of experienced Ophthalmic Specialist Area Managers, who are focussed on delivering the highest levels of service and support.

General Manager, James Crutchlow, commented that “following the 2014 acquisition of Rayner Surgical GmbH (our exclusive distributor in Germany and Austria), Rayner Italia Srl expands our direct presence into Europe’s 3rd largest cataract market”.

What does this mean for surgeons?
Rayner Italia Srl will work closely with surgeons in Italy to provide access to Rayner’s latest technologies during a significant period of new product development. This includes the pending launch of RayOne; our fully preloaded IOL injection system due to be presented at the 2016 ESCRS in Copenhagen.

Through being closer to Rayner’s extensive portfolio, Rayner Italia offers comprehensive training and education as well as highly responsive delivery times.
